ME Electrician Certification Criteria

1. Complete at least 4 years (8,000 hours) of service as an electrician apprentice or helper

2. Finish a 576 hr long electrical course which is approved by the EEB

4. Sit for and achieve a pass in the Maine electrician license assessment

Your electrician program has to contain 225 hrs of mandatory coursework, including an accredited course of not less than 45 hrs dealing with the newest National Electrical Code (NEC) version.
