There are very few people who will go the extra mile for you, unless you pay them, so be warned that you are unlikely to find the perfect employee. Be skeptical when someone presents you with a pile of certificates of qualifications. Many such documents are easily obtainable over the Internet and offer nothing with regard the abilities of the person.

Spend some more time with them, or even ask them back for a second interview. Never ever employ someone after just meeting with the person once. Make an asserted effort to have a follow- up meeting before awarding the position.
